Flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi diverted to Surkhet due to poor visibility

DHANGADHI: A Kathmandu to Dhangadhi flight was redirected to Surkhet owing to adverse weather conditions impacting visibility.

The Buddha Air and Shree Airlines flight, initially bound for Dhangadhi from Kathmandu, had to reroute due to reduced visibility caused by foggy weather.

Despite attempts to land in Dhangadhi at around 10 AM, adverse weather thwarted the landing, prompting an unexpected diversion to Surkhet, as reported by the Dhangadhi Airport Office.

The sudden landing in Surkhet was necessitated by the aircraft’s inability to land in Dhangadhi due to unfavorable weather conditions prevailing in that area.
