NAC to operate weekly flight to Tarigaon

TULSIPUR: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will begin operating a weekly flight to Tarigaon Airport in Tulsipur.

The flights will run only on Fridays, according to Bal Bahadur Sunar, the Corporation’s head in Dang.

The reduced flight frequency is due to a shortage of aircraft, as one of NAC’s planes is currently grounded.

On Fridays, the aircraft will arrive at Tarigaon Airport at 12:00 noon and depart for Kathmandu at 12:20 p.m.

The fare from Dang to Kathmandu will be Rs 7,100, while the fare from Kathmandu to Dang will be Rs 7,250, Sunar added.

There have been numerous requests for more regular air services to the airport, which was established in 2011 BS.

The airport features a 750-meter runway that accommodates only 19-seater aircraft.
