KARNALI: Karnali Province Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel has directed officials to prioritize the effective implementation of the budget for the current fiscal year.
In a meeting with representatives of the Civil Servants’ Trade Union at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Chief Minister Kandel emphasized that fulfilling citizens’ expectations relies on the successful execution of both the policy programs and the current fiscal year’s budget.
“The political leadership is responsible for policymaking, but the role of bureaucracy is crucial for its implementation,” Kandel stated.
He urged officials to strive for tangible results within the first quarter of the fiscal year.
The Chief Minister also expressed that government employees should focus on service delivery and meeting citizens’ expectations rather than solely on their career advancement, transfers, or promotions.
