Heavy rainfall expected even today



KATHMANDU: Monsoon conditions are currently affecting the country, with the monsoon low-pressure line situated around its usual position.

As of Friday morning, the weather across the country is partly to mostly cloudy.

The Weather Forecast Division has reported light to moderate rain in several areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with isolated showers in other provinces.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy skies nationwide.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in some other areas.

The Division has also warnsedof potential heavy rain in one or two locations across all provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as isolated areas in the remaining provinces.
