Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced today’s foreign currency exchange rates (Friday).

The value of the US dollar has continued to rise, reaching its highest level ever.

In contrast, the value of some other foreign currencies has decreased.

According to the Bank, today the buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at 134.05 rupees, and the selling rate is 134.65 rupees. This marks the highest value ever recorded for the US dollar.

The dollar has been increasing steadily over the past few weeks and has set a new record today, surpassing yesterday’s rates of 134.04 rupees for buying and 134.64 rupees for selling.

For the euro, the buying rate today is 146.48 rupees and the selling rate is 147.14 rupees. Yesterday, the euro was bought at 146.39 rupees and sold at 147.05 rupees.

The British pound is set at a buying rate of 170.17 rupees and a selling rate of 170.93 rupees today. Yesterday, the pound was bought at 170.68 rupees and sold at 171.44 rupees.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of 87.85 rupees and a selling rate of 88.24 rupees today, compared to yesterday’s rates of 88.10 rupees for buying and 88.49 rupees for selling.

For the Kuwaiti dinar, the rates are 438.19 rupees for buying and 440.15 rupees for selling today, up slightly from yesterday’s rates of 438.14 rupees and 440.10 rupees.

Lastly, the Bahraini dinar is set at 355.63 rupees for buying and 357.22 rupees for selling today, compared to yesterday’s rates of 355.58 rupees and 357.17 rupees.
