Koshi Province government announces public holiday today



BIRATNAGAR: The Koshi Province government has announced a public holiday today.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday decided to grant the holiday across the province in observance of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, according to Government Spokesperson and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Lilaballav Adhikari.

As a result, all government offices, local bodies, public institutions, foundations, and educational institutions in the province will remain closed for the celebration.
