Landslide obstructs Araniko Highway

KAVREPALANCHOWK: The Araniko Highway is impassable following a landslide at Pachaskilo in Panchkhal last night. Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha reported that continuous landslips have made it challenging to clear the debris.

As a result, a 150-meter stretch of the highway at Panchkhal municipality-8 has been closed since last night, bringing all vehicular movement to a standstill.

Light vehicles are advised to seek alternative routes. DSP Shrestha added that heavy equipment, including excavators, will be deployed this morning to clear the landslide from the road.
