KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is taking place today for a ministry-wise discussion on budget headings.
The meeting will commence at 11 am at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneswor.
Today’s agenda includes ministry-wise discussion on various topics of the Appropriation Bill, 2081.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, discussions will encompass areas under the Ministry of Forests and Environment; Youth and Sports; Education, Science and Technology; and Labor Employment and Social Security.
MP Prem Suwal will propose reducing expenditures under the Appropriation Bill, 2081, concerning the Ministry of Forests and Environment; Ministry of Youth and Sports; Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; and Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security.
MP Amaresh Kumar Singh is slated to propose reducing the expenditure of the mentioned ministries to one rupee.
Additionally, MPs Pushpa Bahadur Shah, Badri Pandey, and Rama Koirala Paudell will also present proposals aiming to cut expenses.
