Four apprehended with leaked grade-12 question papers



KATHMANDU: The District Police Range, Kathmandu, has apprehended and publicly disclosed the identities of four individuals found in possession of Grade-12 answer sheets from the National Examination Board.

The arrested individuals are Madhav Tripathi, 38, residing in Kapan, Kathmandu Metropolis-6; Sabin Paudel, 19, from Dakshinkali Municipality-8; Sitesh Kumar Yadav, 20, residing in Kageshwori Manohara; and Roshan Ranabhat, 23, from Thali, Kathmandu, as stated by Nabaraj Adhikari, Superintendent of Police.

They were apprehended while writing on the answer sheets for the Grade 12 computer science exam, for which the question papers had been leaked prior to the scheduled exam from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday.

The arrests took place at Welcome Party Palace in Kathmandu Metropolis-6.

Superintendent Adhikari stated that investigations into the incident are ongoing in accordance with the Education Act of 2028.
