KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the fixtures for the upcoming T20 international series between Nepal and West Indies ‘A’.
The tournament is set to take place from April 25 to May 5, with five T20 matches scheduled during this period.
The matches are scheduled as follows:
April 27: First Match
April 28: Second Match
May 1: Third Match
May 2: Fourth Match
May 4: Fifth Match
All matches will be held at the TU International Cricket Ground.
This series marks the first time West Indies ‘A’ team will be playing in Nepal.
Nepal’s participation in this series is part of their preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup.
The World Cup will feature 20 teams divided into Groups A, B, C, and D. Nepal is placed in Group D alongside South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Netherlands.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8 stage. This marks Nepal’s second appearance in the World Cup, following their debut in 2014.
