KATHMANDU: An earthquake took place with its epicenter in Parche of Kaski district.

According to the National Earthquake Measurement Centre, Kathmandu, an earthquake of magnitude 4 was felt in the district at 7. 30  am this afternoon.

The details of damage caused by the tremor are still to come.

Nepal’s hilly and mountainous areas are considered a vulnerable zone for earthquakes.
