No dispute within ruling coalition on NA Chair: Agni Sapkota



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center has affirmed that the coalition remains united regarding the position of the National Assembly Chairman.

After a meeting of the party’s Standing Committee on Friday, Agni Prasad Sapkota, the Vice-Chairman and Spokesperson of the Maoist Center, addressed party members and well-wishers to clarify the matter.

“While some leaders from the Nepali Congress may comment on this issue, there is no dispute within the coalition. The coalition will persist for the next five years,” he assured.

The Standing Committee finalized the agenda for the party’s upcoming Central Committee meeting during the meeting.

The Maoist Center has scheduled its Central Committee meeting for Sunday and Monday.
