KATHMANDU: The government has committed to implementing the recommendations put forward by the committee investigating the Ncell Share Sale issue after establishing concrete work plans.
Led by former Auditor General Tankamani Sharma, the committee has finalized the report and is prepared to proceed with its implementation.
On Friday, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma briefed the Education and Technology Committee of the parliament about the developed action plan.
She informed the committee that the report had not yet been made public.
Minister Sharma emphasized that the government is taking the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority’s letter to the government seriously, seeking vigilance towards corruption in the IT sector.
She assured that the government would combat corruption without any compromise.
