NEPSE slides to 2,689 after 45.93-point drop



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) dropped by 45.93 points, or 1.67%, Sunday, closing at 2,689.

This follows a decline of 15.93 points in the previous session.

The market opened at 2,752.38 and saw fluctuations throughout the day, reaching a low of 2,675.92 and a high of 2,735.67. Total turnover for the day was Rs. 7.46 billion, with 81,404 transactions involving 17,392,244 shares from 321 companies.
