‘Jet boat’ service resumes in Saptakoshi River

SUNSARI: Jet boat service has been brought into re-operation in the Saptakoshi River in Chatara of Sunsari from Monday onward.

Chief District Officer Ramchandra Tiwari informed that the jet boat service has resumed easing the movement through Saptakoshi.

CDO Tiwari informed that the operation of the jet boat has been resumed with the fall in water level and flow in Saptakoshi.

The Sunsari administration had banned the operation of the jet boat at Saptakoshi with the onset of the monsoon season.

With the resumption of the service, it will be easier for passengers to travel up to Hatuwagadhi in Bhojpur. The number of such passengers is also increasing in recent days.
