KATHMANDU: The central working committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) is taking place today as well.
The meeting, which began on Wednesday at the party central office in Sanepa, will continue today.
Eleven different agendas are set to be discussed.
During yesterday’s session, 11 proposals were submitted for consideration, including a proposal to launch a 100-day organizational campaign, and the formation of a steering committee for the convention of fraternal organizations.
Today’s discussions will focus on the distribution and renewal of active membership and the filling of vacancies from the party’s wards to higher levels.
Party spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat said that yesterday’s meeting approved the decision made by the Central Performance Committee regarding the formation of a government of national consensus.
