Heavy rain expected in several provinces



KATHMANDU: With the monsoon winds currently affecting the country, there has been a general shift in weather patterns across the country.

The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that several areas in the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are experiencing light to moderate rain.

This afternoon, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in some areas of Madhesh Province.

Heavy rainfall is anticipated in one or two locations within Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the country will remain generally cloudy.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in many places across Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with some rain in other provinces.

Heavy rainfall may occur in one or two areas in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
