Madhes govt allocates funds to lawmakers



KATHMANDU: In a significant move, the Madhes government has decided to allocate 50 million rupees to directly elected lawmakers and 15 million rupees to proportional representatives.

This decision was announced during the inaugural meeting of the newly formed cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh.

Following the ministers’ oath-taking ceremony, Chief Minister Singh ratified the decisions made during the cabinet’s first session, emphasizing financial support to the constituencies through the elected representatives.
