KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML has urged all political parties to support the current government led by Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

A meeting of the party’s Secretariat meeting held at the party central office in Chyasal this morning, decided to appeal to other parties for their support in the five-party government.

After the meeting, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel emphasized that the coalition, led by PM Dahal, aims to transform public disillusionment into hope while safeguarding the nation’s interests and independence.

Expressing optimism, Pokharel stated that he believed that this effort will yield positive outcomes for the country’s independence, development, and prosperity.

He also said that the 29th Secretariat meeting of the UML will host a special program on the Baisakh 10, marking the 75th anniversary of the party’s establishment.
