Gold price drops by Rs 700 per tola today



KATHMANDU: In a notable shift, the price of gold witnessed a decline of Rs 700 per tola on Monday, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The current trading rate for the precious metal is Rs 118,800 per tola, marking a decrease from the previous day’s rate of Rs 119,500 per tola.

Simultaneously, the price of standard gold stands at Rs 118,250 per tola today.

It’s worth noting that a tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.

In tandem with the gold market, the price of silver has also experienced a decrease of Rs 500, with the current rate standing at Rs 1,415 per tola.
