NPL: Sudurpaschim sets Lumbini a target of 188 runs



KATHMANDU: Sudurpaschim Royals have set Lumbini Lions a target of 188 runs in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket match.

After losing the toss and being invited to bat first at the Tribhuvan University (TU) Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Sudurpaschim scored 187 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

This marks the first encounter between Lumbini Lions and Sudurpaschim Royals in the NPL.

In the ongoing NPL, this is the third match for both teams. Lumbini Lions have played two matches so far, but unfortunately lost both.

They were defeated by Biratnagar Kings by two wickets in their opening match and then by Pokhara Avengers in their second match.

On the other hand, Sudurpaschim Royals have been in strong form, winning both of their previous matches.

They defeated Biratnagar Kings in their first match and Kathmandu Gurkhas in their second.
