RSP opts for primary elections to finalize local level by-election candidates



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to finalize its candidates for the local level by-elections through the primary elections process.

The Central Election Coordinating Committee, chaired by Central Member and Member of Parliament Ganesh Parajuli, held a meeting to finalize the schedule for the preliminary elections.

The nomination registration period has been set from November 7 to 10, with voting and the final decision on candidates scheduled for November 13.

In addition, the RSP has assigned individuals to oversee the organization of local by-elections across various provinces.

Nisha Dangi has been given the responsibility for organizing elections in Koshi Province and Dr. Chanda Karki in Madesh Province and Shishir Khanal will handle election mobilization in Bagmati Province.

Bindabasini Kansakar has been assigned to oversee the election process in Gandaki Province, while Kusum Maharjan will take charge of Lumbini Province.

Lima Adhikari has been tasked with the elections in Karnali Province, and Bishnu Kumar Shrestha will manage the process in Sudurpaschim Province.
