Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced today’s (Monday) exchange rates for foreign currencies.

While the value of the US dollar remains unchanged, most foreign currencies—including the euro, pound, and Australian dollar—have decreased in value.

In contrast, the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars have seen an increase.

According to the exchange rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 134.06 rupees, with a selling rate of 134.66 rupees. The US dollar has maintained this price for the past three days.

For today, the buying rate for one euro is 147.16 rupees, and the selling rate is 147.82 rupees. This marks a drop from yesterday’s rates, which were 147.89 rupees for buying and 148.56 rupees for selling.

The buying rate for one pound sterling today is 175.88 rupees, with a selling rate of 176.67 rupees. Yesterday, the rates were 176.55 rupees for buying and 177.34 rupees for selling.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is 91.11 rupees, and the selling rate is 91.52 rupees. This is down from yesterday’s rates of 91.72 rupees for buying and 92.13 rupees for selling.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar remains at 438.53 rupees, with a selling rate of 440.50 rupees. Yesterday, these rates were 438.12 rupees for buying and 440.08 rupees for selling.

Meanwhile, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is 355.60 rupees, and the selling rate is 357.19 rupees. Yesterday, the rates were 355.48 rupees for buying and 357.07 rupees for selling.
