KATHMANDU: Nepal faced India in the final match of the CAVA Women’s National League Volleyball today.
On Tuesday, Nepal advanced to the final by defeating Iran in straight sets: 25-21, 28-26, and 25-20 at the National Sports Council complex in Tripureshwar.
Earlier, both Nepal and Iran had reached the semi-finals, finishing second and third, respectively, in the points table. In a previous league-stage encounter, Iran had defeated Nepal 3-2.
In the other semi-final held on Tuesday, India emerged victorious against Sri Lanka in straight sets, 3-0.
