JHAPA: The Armed Police Force has seized garments worth Rs. 1 million that were imported by evading customs.

The seizure took place at Sunmai Tea Garden in Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-7 and at the Bus Park in Mechinagar Municipality-6.

Suman Pokharel, Information Officer of Armed Police Force Nepal No. 2, stated that a team mobilized from Sunmai Tea Garden seized the clothes valued at Rs. 1 million.

Additionally, another team recovered more garments, with the total value yet to be confirmed.
