KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency rates for today (Wednesday).

The US dollar has reached its highest value ever, with the buying rate set at 134 rupees 03 paisa and the selling rate at 134 rupees 63 paisa.

The dollar has been steadily rising over the past few weeks, setting a new record today.

Yesterday, the buying rate was 133 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate was 134 rupees 46 paisa.

For today, the buying rate of 1 Euro is 146 rupees 19 paisa and the selling rate is 146 rupees 85 paisa.

This is down from yesterday’s buying rate of 146 rupees 56 paisa and selling rate of 147 rupees 21 paisa.

The buying rate of 1 British pound is 170 rupees 24 paisa and the selling rate is 171 rupees.

Yesterday, the rates were 170 rupees 62 paisa and 171 rupees 39 paisa, respectively.

The buying rate for 1 Australian dollar is 86 rupees 87 paisa and the selling rate is 87 rupees 26 paisa. This compares to yesterday’s rates of 86 rupees 31 paisa and 86 rupees 70 paisa.

For today, the buying rate of 1 Kuwaiti dinar is 438 rupees 35 paisa and the selling rate is 440 rupees 31 paisa. Yesterday, these rates were 438 rupees 35 paisa and 440 rupees 32 paisa.

The buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar is 355 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 357 rupees 13 paisa.

Yesterday, the rates were 355 rupees 11 paisa and 356 rupees 71 paisa.
