PM Dahal is scheduled to seek vote of confidence on July 12: Speaker Ghimire

KATHMANDU: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, announced that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will seek a vote of confidence on July 12.

During the House session on Sunday, Speaker Ghimire informed that Prime Minister Dahal will present a proposal for a vote of confidence on July 12, by Article 100, Clause 2 of the Constitution.

Ghimire mentioned that the House meeting on July 12 has been called specifically for this purpose.

In the same session, Labor, Employment, and Social Security Minister Dol Prasad Aryal, on behalf of the Prime Minister, presented the 33rd annual report of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.

Additionally, Secretary of the House, Suresh Adhikari, briefed the representatives on the message received from the National Assembly regarding the ‘Appropriation Bill, 2081’.
