KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) Party has assigned the responsibility of selecting central committee members to the Province Incharges and Secretaries.
A meeting held on Sunday at Aloknagar assigned these responsibilities.
The names proposed by the Province Incharges and Secretaries will be reviewed and selected by the central committee, according to party leader Jagannath Kathiwada.
Kathiwada stated that the committee will be completed within the next 10 days, and the office bearers will be chosen once the committee is finalized.
The party has already elected its Chairman, senior leader, general secretary, and 93 central committee members during its recent National Convention.
The party plans to have a total of 299 central committee members and 29 office bearers.
