KATHMANDU: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Dol Prasad Aryal has said the government had been successful to provide labor permit within an hour to the worker opting foreign employment.
In a press conference held here Sunday, Minister Aryal shared that one could get the labor permit on his mobile phone within an hour after uploading required documents and details through online technology during office hours.
According to him, Foreign Employment Office Tahachal made worked actively to realize the plan of ensuring worker’s access to labor permit in a short time. He appreciated honesty and complete support of the employees to this regard.
The Minister, however, informed that the permit delivery could prolong in case of pending document, duplicity or suspicious submission of documents.
Computer software was upgraded for the new scheme, he added.
