Nepal A suffers defeat against Ireland Wolves

KATHMANDU: Ireland Wolves secured victory over Nepal A for the third consecutive match.

In the final game of the one-day series, Nepal A fell short of Ireland Wolves’ target of 285 runs, getting all out for 215 runs in 39.4 overs, resulting in a 69-run loss.

Arjun Kumal contributed the most for Nepal with 102 runs, followed by Arjun Saud with 36 runs today.

Additionally, Naren Bhatt and Rupesh Singh scored 15 runs each.

On the other hand, Ireland Wolves bowlers, Ben White and Gavin Hoey, took five and four wickets respectively.

Previously, batting first, Ireland Wolves had scored 284 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.

For the Wolves, opener Stephen Doheny played a century inning of 107 runs.

Peter Moor contributed 44 runs, while Morgan Topping, Fiachra Hand, Ben White, and Mathew Humphreys scored 21, 20, 19, and 23 runs respectively.

In response, Nepal A’s bowlers Rijan Dhakal and Ranjit Kumar took 3 wickets each, while Bikash Agrawal and Shahab Alam took 1 wicket each.

With this win, Ireland Wolves clinched the one-day series 3-0.

Previously, Ireland Wolves had won the T20 series 2-1.
