Election Commission invites complaints against candidates for by-election

Interested individuals can submit the complaints from 10 am to 3 pm today



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission has issued a call for complaints against candidates contesting in the upcoming by-elections in Ilam-2 and Bhajang-1, scheduled for April 27.

Interested individuals wishing to file complaints have today as the deadline, with the Election Commission accepting submissions from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday.

In the event of any complaints being lodged, the Election Commission will adjudicate on them and announce its decision by 5 pm.

A total of 12 candidates representing various political parties, along with eight independent candidates, have filed their nominations for the contest in Ilam-2.

Similarly, in Bhajang-1, 12 candidates from 12 different parties are set to compete for the seat.
