CIAA files corruption case against Chandragiri’s assistant Sub-Engineer Pant



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against Assistant Sub-Engineer Vijayalakshmi Pant of Chandragiri Municipality.

The commission lodged the case against Pant for allegedly taking a bribe, including an amount seized during her arrest, and filed it at a Special Court on Sunday.

The CIAA informed that Pant, working at Ward No. 14 office in Nayapati of Chandragiri Municipality, received 25,000 rupees as a bribe for issuing a building completion certificate to a service recipient.
