Bhutan King visits Baudhanath, offers prayers



KATHMANDU: King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck visited Baudhanath and offered prayers on Friday.

After his visit to Swayambhunath, the King proceeded to Baudhanath.

Officials from the Swayambhu Management and Conservation Mahasamiti welcomed the Bhutanese King at the Swayambhu premises.

The King spent about half an hour at Swayambhu, taking in the panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

The King, who arrived in Nepal this morning from New Delhi, had planned to visit Baudhanath following his time at Swayambhu.
