Weather to remain partly cloudy today



KATHMANDU: The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces today, with mostly clear skies elsewhere in the country.

Fog has been reported in some hilly and Tarai areas, as well as the valleys of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The Division also notes that the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, and Lumbini will remain partly cloudy this afternoon, with light rain possible in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi Province.

The weather is expected to remain the same overnight.

On Saturday morning, fog is likely to affect the Tarai and some parts of the Kathmandu Valley, which may disrupt daily life, road traffic, and air transportation, the Division warns.

As for the expedition forecasts, the weather in the western region will remain mostly clear, while the central region will be partly cloudy with a chance of light snowfall at one or two places.

In Koshi Province, there is a possibility of light rain at one or two locations in the next 24 hours.
