Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Wednesday).

According to NRB, the values of the Australian and Canadian dollars have increased compared to Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the buying rate for one Australian dollar was set at 88.57 rupees, and the selling rate was 88.97 rupees. Today, the buying rate has risen to 88.96 rupees, while the selling rate is now 89.36 rupees.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar was 96.52 rupees and the selling rate was 96.96 rupees yesterday. Today, these rates have increased to 96.74 rupees for buying and 97.17 rupees for selling.

For today, the buying rate for one US dollar is 134.28 rupees, with a selling rate of 134.88 rupees.

The buying and selling rates for other currencies are as follows: the European Euro is 146.39 rupees (buying) and 147.04 rupees (selling); the UK Pound Sterling is 174.42 rupees (buying) and 175.20 rupees (selling); the Swiss Franc is 155.82 rupees (buying) and 156.52 rupees (selling).

The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is set at 120.01 rupees, with a selling rate of 124.46 rupees.

Additionally, the rates for other currencies are as follows: the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is 8.82 rupees, and the selling rate is 8.86 rupees; the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is 18.90 rupees, and the selling rate is 18.99 rupees; for one Saudi Arabian riyal, the buying rate is 35.75 rupees, and the selling rate is 35.91 rupees; and for one Qatari riyal, the buying rate is 36.84 rupees, with a selling rate of 37.01 rupees.

According to NRB, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4.00 rupees, and the selling rate is 4.02 rupees.

The buying rate for one UAE dirham is 36.56 rupees, with a selling rate of 36.72 rupees. The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 30.90 rupees, and the selling rate is 31.04 rupees.
