Baglung Landslides: Death toll reaches seven, four rescued



BAGLUNG: The death toll from separate landslides in Baglung today has risen to seven, while four individuals have been rescued alive.

Two people were killed when a landslide buried a house in Badigad Rural Municipality-9 this morning.

Another landslide in Badigad Rural Municipality-10 claimed the lives of five people, according to police reports.

The landslide in Badigad-10 buried the house of Joglal Budha in Aarupata.

Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral stated that four people have been rescued from the landslide debris, with two reported to be severely injured.
