Industrialist Agrawal passes away

KATHMANDU: Constituent Assembly member and senior industrialist, Shrawan Kumar Agrawal, has died at the age of 77.

The former chairman of Marwadi Sewa Samiti passed away at his residence at Sanepa, Lalitpur last night.

He is the father of Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, president of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI).

In a condolence message today, CNI has extended condolences on Shrawan’s demise.

He was active in various industries and businesses for the last 58 years. He is survived by a spouse, two sons and a daughter.

CNI said his last rites would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
