KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley, along with various other regions in the country, has been experiencing heavy rainfall (as of 8:40 am).
The Weather Forecast Division stated that moderate to heavy rain is currently affecting the Valley.
The Division indicated that the rain is likely to persist in Kathmandu Valley throughout the day.
Although it may not rain continuously, it seems probable that the downpour will eventually subside, according to the Division.
Kathmandu Valley has received 97 mm of rain over the past 12 hours, it said.
In the same timeframe, Budhanilkantha has experienced 70.4 mm of rainfall.
