CAVA Women’s Volleyball: Nepal playing against Iran today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is playing against Iran in the semi-final today.

Nepal entered the semi-final defeating the Maldives to book a place in the semi-finals of the CAVA Women’s Nations Volleyball League.

In the last group stage match held under the League at the National Sports Council complex in Tripureshwar on Monday, Nepal defeated the Maldives in straight sets of 25-8, 25-19 and 25-18.

Following the win, Nepal finished second in the points table and will now meet Iran in the semi-finals.

Iran finished third in the points table.

Likewise, India and Sri Lanka will compete in the first semi-final today.

India topped the league stage while Sri Lanka finished fourth.
