Three killed, five injured in Syangja landslide

KATHMANDU: Three people lost their lives in a landslide in Biruwa Rural Municipality-6 of Syangja district on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Hari Maya Sharma, 67, Madhav Sharma, 71, and Guheshwori Sharma, 65, according to Indra Bahadur Rana, spokesperson of the District Police Office.

The landslide occurred near their house in the morning.

Additionally, five others sustained injuries in the incident.

They were rescued by locals and a team from the Biruwa Police Office.
