KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has announced that a new government will be formed under the leadership of CPN-UML, as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and the agreement between the two parties.

During a parliamentary party meeting held at New Baneshwor on Saturday, the Nepali Congress declared that UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli will head the new government.

Furthermore, the party decided to oppose the confidence vote of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, according to Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak.
