One missing, three houses swept away in Dolakha flood



DOLAKHA: A person has gone missing and three houses have been swept away in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9, Dolakha district, due to floods triggered by torrential rainfall.

Jangmu Sherpa, 64, went missing on Friday night when the flooded Rolwaling rivulet swept him away, according to Nima Geli Sherpa, the chairperson of Gaurishankar-9.

The chairperson added that they are currently assessing the details of the losses caused by the flood.

The missing individual, Jangmu Sherpa of Chhotchhot Simigaun, had been running a hotel in Dodang of Gaurishankar-9 for the past three decades.
