KATHMANDU: France has advanced to the Euro Cup semifinals by defeating Portugal.
In a match held last night in Hamburg, Germany, France triumphed over Portugal in a penalty shootout to secure their spot in the semifinals.
The match ended in a goalless draw after the regular 90 minutes and an additional 30 minutes of extra time.
France clinched the victory in the penalty shootout with a 5-3 win over Portugal.
