RSP calls parliamentary meeting amidst political developments

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called for a parliamentary party meeting, scheduled to convene at 8 am on Tuesday.

The agenda of the meeting will encompass discussions on various pertinent topics including the upcoming budget session, ongoing political developments, and the outcomes of the Ilam-2 by-elections.

With the Nepali Congress advocating for a parliamentary committee to probe the cooperative fraud case allegedly involving Rabi Lamichhane, the Chairman of RSP, alongside the recent split within the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), the meeting holds significant importance.

In the backdrop of these events, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is actively seeking consensus among political parties concerning the cooperative fraud cases, in anticipation of the upcoming budget session.
