UML calls meeting of National Congress Representatives Council



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has convened a meeting of its National Congress Representatives Council from April 20 to 22.

According to UML Central Office Secretary Dr. Bhishmaraj Adhikari, the gathering will be held at the Sunrise Convention Center in Godavari, Lalitpur, and will be attended by 2,153 general convention representatives.

In accordance with the party’s statute, the Council meeting will be convened as necessary between the two National Congress gatherings.

Preparations for the Council meeting are set to begin today at the Central Office, where discussions will focus on various aspects.

The Council assembly is anticipated to deliberate on reports presented by the central committee and the central body, approve necessary documents, conduct a comprehensive review of the party’s performance, and issue pertinent directives to the concerned entities.
