Fatal fire breaks out at Lalitpur Metal Industry

KATHMANDU: Tragedy struck when a fire engulfed a metal industry in Hattiban, Lalitpur, claiming the life of one individual today.

The identity of the deceased has yet to be determined, stated SP Nareshraj Subedi from the Lalitpur Police Office.

The incident occurred around 6 am at Sikma Metal Intex Pvt Ltd. While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities speculate that an electrical malfunction may have sparked the blaze.

The fire caused extensive damage to the physical properties of the industry, reducing them to ashes. Thankfully, firefighters managed to extinguish the flames, but details regarding the extent of the damages are still being gathered.
