KATHMANDU: The scheduled oath-taking ceremony for new ministers has experienced a delay.

Initially set for 5 PM today, the ceremony has been rescheduled to commence at 5:45 PM, as confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

The delay is attributed to the decision of CPN (Unified Socialist) to join the government contingent upon the fulfillment of their specified conditions.

A secretariat meeting of the party has outlined five conditions for their participation in the government.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is reportedly awaiting the arrival of CPN (US) leaders at Baluwatar to address their stance.
