Ministerial Roles: Pun to lead Finance, Lamichhane as Home Minister, Shrestha as Foreign Minister



KATHMANDU: The newly formed ruling coalition has finalized the allocation of ministerial positions, revealing the names of three incoming ministers.

As per the coalition agreement, Barshaman Pun is slated to become the Finance Minister, while Rabi Lamichhane will take charge of the Home Ministry.

Narayan Kaji Shrestha has been designated as the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Representing CPN (Maoist Center), both Pun and Shrestha assume crucial roles in the government, while Lamichhane hails from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

Furthermore, the coalition has decided to distribute ministerial portfolios among its members, granting eight positions to UML, five to CPN (Maoist Center), four to RSP, and two to JSP.
