NA election: NC holding meeting to finalize candidates



KATHMANDU: In preparation for the upcoming National Assembly elections scheduled for January 25, the Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Work Executive Committee meeting to finalize the party’s candidates today.

The meeting has been summoned as the deadline for candidate nominations for the National Assembly elections looms on January 8, prompting the Nepali Congress to strategize and decide on its contenders.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel announced that the meeting of the Central Execution Committee is scheduled for this Saturday at 1 pm.

The venue for the meeting is set to be the party’s central office in Sanepa.

Paudel has extended invitations to office bearers and members of the Committee, urging their attendance at this gathering to deliberate on the selection of candidates for the National Assembly elections.
