KATHMANDU: A 65-year-old man died following a rhino attack in Kawasoti Municipality-7, Nawalparasi, on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Suk Bahadur Bote of Botetol. He was grazing cattle in the Krishnasar Community Forest when he was attacked by the rhino, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

DSP Jeshi Shah reported that Bote sustained critical injuries and succumbed to them during treatment.
